Translation Internship in China

About the Company

The Internship is hosted within a fast-growing translation and interpreting agency based in Shanghai, China. They specialize in Business translations, copywriting and interpreting in various industries. They consult with Fortune 500 organizations and other Huge Multinational Companies. Successful applicants will be working with Regional Managers and Decision makers of their clients, staging meetings and completing projects in translation and interpretation. This translation internships in China are for students who have studied Mandarine, Business Translation and or  Business Studies. There are equally compelling offers from other companies in Beijing.

Job Description

The main duties during the internship would be as follows:

• Proofreading of English documents
• Mandarin to English translation (depending on the skills of the intern)
• Preparation of translation projects
• Writing articles for the company’s website and marketing material
• Optimizing the SEO status of the company’s website
• Administrative duties

Job Qualification

The ideal intern for this position would possess the following qualities:

• English native speaker, with excellent English writing skills (This is an essential requirement. Non-native English speakers will not be considered)
• Student of Mandarin / Mandarin translation
• A fast learner with a positive attitude
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced multicultural and multilingual environment

• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• We are flexible with the internship start date and duration and can adapt it according to the availability of your student(s)
• Available now
• Based at our central Shanghai office (JingAn district)
• Acceptance of candidate subject to a telephone interview and proofreading test
