Our partner company is an architects and interior`s Milan based firm specialized in hospitality, commercial and residential projects and urban planning, with office branches in Beijing, China. They are now opening a new branch in Shenzhen, China Hence they are seeking a proficient and committed architect to join their multicultural team. Opportunity is open for a graduate architect to join their team. You have the chance to work in a creative and constructive team environment to develop your Professional skills and have opportunities for long term career progression. You will learn from the best, working in the unique and booming real-estate market of China. As a participant on our Architecture internship in China, you will work on lots of projects designated to groom you into launching a career in China.
Intern Responsibilities
- As part of the design team, you will:
- participate in high-profile architecture projects
- contribute to the design of complex projects of different scales
- assist in preparing presentation package
- learning to manage a project’s efficiently, to program and budget
- learning to manage and brief design team on live projects
- learning how to build and grow existing client relationships
- learning the skill to visualize concepts and explain them to others
- learning to develop detailed designs and to choose material
- working closely with the directors and the seniors, you are expected to use your
- initiative on following up on new business opportunities and attend networking events
within the industry
Skills
- a strong work ethic and ‘can do’ attitude
an eagerness to learn and a commitment to deliver outstanding design work
superb conceptual and design development skills contributing to the design of
complex projects
Strong knowledge of international architecture trends and directions and a solid
understanding of form finding strategies
advanced skills in Photoshop and possibly 3D Studio Max
great experience in using AutoCAD and Sketch-Up
self-confident and receptive to constructive feedback
ability to manage time and work flow
great attitude dealing with team members
excellent communication skills including verbal, written and visual
exceptional attention to detail
